Daniel M. Peery, MAI  began analyzing real estate as a youngster playing in the rock bottomed creeks of his family’s small diversified farm in northwest Missouri.

After helping in the family farming, real estate brokerage and property management businesses, Dan first obtained his real estate salesperson license in 1983. Upon graduating from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agronomy, Dan embarked upon his full time career helping folks with their agricultural and commercial real estate needs.

Applying practical knowledge with active participation in a successful farming partnership cultivating about 1,200 acres of cropland located in the Missouri River and Moreau River bottoms near Jefferson City with broad based real estate experience including work as a Realty Specialist with the Missouri Department of Conservation, mortgage banking, brokerage, property management, consulting and appraisal yields a deep and wide breadth of experience in the primary practice areas of rural real estate including all types of agricultural properties nationwide and commercial properties in small communities.

As a MAI Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute, Dan has demonstrated the necessary commercial and agricultural property valuation experience and knowledge to produce a valuation that instills confidence. MAI Designated members agree to adhere to  the Appraisal Institute code of professional ethics and standards of professional appraisal practice, underscoring their commitment to sound and ethical professional practice.

Continuing education requirements help MAI Designated members stay informed of developments pertaining to real property valuation, enabling them to provide valuations reflecting the latest in professional practice. The MAI designation has long been recognized by courts of law, government agencies, financial institutions and investors as a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis.
